These seminars address the issues of: accessibility compliance; why accessibility is important, and how to maintain and test for compliance. She also provides information on Australia’s accessibility requirements, as well as other international standards, such as Section 508 (the American accessibility standard) and the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. To facilitate understanding and increase compliance, the W3C accessibility ratings are discussed, as well as how to determine what level the site should aim (for example, depending on your audience).

The success of these seminars is confirmed by Gian being asked to conduct the seminars for other groups within organisations she has already worked with, or for new organisations who have heard of her reputation, via word-of-mouth from previous participants, hearing her speak at conferences, etc.
